Debbie & John welcome you to Friary Wood - situated on the main A36 between Warminster & Bath, Friary Wood is offered as a 7 bedroomed country houses set in 20 acres of formal garden, walled gardens and pasture land with private woods. It’s a perfect location for visiting Bath, Longleat, Stonehenge, Wookey Hole/ Cheddar Caves and many more fabulous attractions.

The main house has been completely renovated to high standard throughout with rooms offering original period features. All rooms/suite rooms/ family rooms come with flatscreen TV/Freeview & tea/coffee making facilities.

Our rooms are offered as single/double /triple occupancy and we can also offer “Lovely Spacious Rooms” ideal for couples and families, with rooms that can sleep up to 7 persons – all rooms have beautiful views - overlooking the gardens and woods. With children in mind, we even have a small kitchen on the 1st floor, with microwave, crockery & a fridge, ideal for heating up bottles or snacks for the kids!

A private gated entrance with key code access will ensure privacy for you and your families & a large gravel driveway to the entrance of the house provides ample parking.

Friary Wood provides bedding, towels, hairdryers & ironing facilities.

We offer a Continental breakfast with the option to upgrade to full English breakfast at a supplement & provide a vegetarian option – however if you do have special dietary requirements, you will need to provide your own provisions.

Our guests are welcome to use the outdoor swimming pool or have a leisurely game or maybe even a Wimbledon style challenge game of tennis on our courts, Why not explore the woods, have a leisurely stroll around our well tended gardens & rose gardens, or purely relax and unwind for the evening with a glass of chilled wine out on the terrace.
