Mercure Bath Francis Hotel will be closing on the 2nd January 2012 for a £5.5 million refurbishment. On re-opening in early May the Hotel will become the first member outside London of Accor’s upscale brand the MGallery Collection. The Francis Hotel will boast 98 bedrooms including individually-styled executive and feature bedrooms, an upmarket restaurant and on-site parking.

Dating back to 1728, when it was built as 6 private houses, it retains many reminders of its past combined with excellent modern facilities.
