A fine welcome will greet your arrival at this four star country house. This superb Palladian mansion set in one of the West Country's most romantic estates, Ston Easton Park exudes elegance, warmth and comfort. Log fires burn, comfortable antique furniture and exquisite paintings beckon, evoking memories of a more leisured age and providing a welcome you might associate with a magnificent private country house. There is little that can compare with the well preserved classicism of Ston Easton Park.
The Library and the magnificent State Rooms are always greatly appreciated by guests, including one of England's earliest surviving Print Rooms with its reminders of the grand tours undertaken in the 18th Century. The Palladian Saloon has been described as 'one of the finest rooms in Somerset' with its ceiling Motif of the Eagle of Jupiter. The rooms offer a perfect environment for any occasion.
The newest recruit to the Ston Easton family is Oscar, the Cocker Spaniel. Oscar is devoted to welcoming guests, adding to the subtle personal touch that gives Ston Easton Park such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
The Sorrell Restaurant boasts a standard of service from a Bygone Era, creating the perfect ambience for fine dining. The cuisine as you may expect is of award winning stature. The head chef, Tom Bally mixes the finest homegrown vegetables and herbs with selected produce from their local suppliers, to conjure an array of dishes to tempt you. Activities from clay pigeon shooting to horse riding can be arranged or if you are feeling like you need to be spoilt why not indulge in a helicopter ride.
