The Tramshed

The Tramshed is a traditional pub with a spacious restaurant serving freshly prepared food in relaxed surroundings in the centre of Bath. Once inside, the original features of the building are showcased along with a contemporary, modern décor and our cowhides are famous! The atmosphere is friendly and informal and the perfect setting to just stop by for a pint of ale, read the papers or enjoy simple food prepared with care.

Our menus change with the seasons and are modern British, comfortably interwoven with some delicious Mediterranean influences. We serve our traditional pub favourites that everyone loves, such as fish and chips or a succulent steak but you may fancy a freshly made pizza or a bowl of pasta. If those don’t tempt you, then you can try chef’s daily specials showcasing the finest fresh ingredients. There’s something for everyone and you don’t have to go for the full Monty, just have a snack and a drink in the bar with your friends.

For many, Sunday just wouldn’t be Sunday without a Bloody Mary followed by a traditional roast lunch. We are all for keeping with tradition here! From midday we’ll be serving a choice of mouth-watering Sunday roasts, beautifully prepared by our chefs, with all the trimmings. There’s something for everyone and of course, the bar will be open all day!

Come and enjoy our covered terrace outside and watch the world go by. Bath is a bustling city with lots going on, so why not pull up a chair, order a glass of your favourite wine and relax.

Wine is something of a passion for us and nothing pleases us more than when we unearth a new discovery that blows our socks off! We work really closely with our wine partners around the world and you may not realise this, but we have our very own exclusive blends that are made just for us! Of course, we’ve still got all the usual suspects that we know you love, everything from crisp refreshing zingy white Pinots and Sauvignons, trendy pinks to fat juicy reds by the bottle or glass but we look forward to seeing your reaction to our latest treasures!

We are also very proud of our beers and with a great selection of cask ales, super chilled draft and bottled beers there’s bound to be something to quench your thirst.
The restaurant also offers a fixed price lunch or early evening menu, two courses for £12.50. The Tramshed is the perfect setting for a long lazy lunch, a catch up with your friends and family or in fact any occasion surrounding good food and wine. Whatever your taste buds crave, there will is something for everyone at The Tramshed. We use local produce and our aim is to take the usual pub fayre and make it a little bit different. We try and give our diners good food, cooked well with a little bit of extra love into each dish.
