Avondale Riverside is a refurbished coach house accommodating either 2 parties of 4 persons and a baby, or 1 party of up to 8 persons and a baby. Located on the eastern approach to Bath, it is 5-10 minutes by car from Bath city centre. There are good local shops in Batheaston village and regular bus services connect with the centre of Bath.

The accommodation stands in its own grounds with it south-facing garden, and riverside views from the balcony and windows. Visitors have their own private entrance with secured parking and private courtyard with barbecue area. The apartments have full central heating and all bed linen is provided. All fixtures and fittings are of a high standard - facilities include widescreen TV, DVD player and stereo. Pets are allowed by arrangement.

For those wanting to eat out the hotel nearby serves every night, and also hires out boats and canoes. There are also several good pubs nearby and an excellent fish ''n'' chip shop.

Good location for sightseeing in Bath City and local attractions such as Longleat Safari Park, the Cotswolds, Cheddar Gorge and many other places.

From M4 junction 18
From M4 jct 18 follow A46 to Bath. Do not leave at Bath jct but continue on the Batheaston by-pass to roundabout jct with the A363 and A4. At roundabout turn left to Batheaston, 2.5 yds on left turn into drive of Avondale.

Public Transport Directions

From Bath Spa
Bath bus station is directly opposite Bath Spa and buses No 13 leave regularly to Batheaston, Bathford. Stopping closely to Avondale coach house. National Express coaches also stop nearby.
