Close to the historic village of Lacock in a quiet rural location, yet within easy reach of Bath and well situated for touring Wiltshire and the Cotswolds are two new cottages, sleeping four. Situated within the grounds of the owners' converted barn, each has its own patio garden.

The cottages have open-plan living areas with oak beams, a downstairs double bedroom and a bathroom (shower) and a galleried twin bedroom accessed by ladder stairs. One has a glazed wall with a garden view and both have French doors to their patio area. There is a shared utility room.

Road Directions

M4 junction 17. Take A350 signposted Poole and follow for 10-15 minutes. At various roundabouts the A350 will be signposted to Poole or Trowbridge. At Lackham roundabout turn right on the A350 signposted to Melksham. Take the first right hand turn signposted Notton. Follow lane 400 metres. Barn Cottages are on the right hand behind a stone wall, after a white cottage.
Parking is on the left as you turn into drive.

Public Transport Directions

Intercity to Chippenham station. Hourly bus service 234 to Notton House School from Chippenham bus station. (Not Sundays or public holidays). Walk 400 yards up lane, keeping the school on your left. The cottages are on the right behind a stone wall, after the white cottage.
