Next to the Cotswolds Way, twenty minutes from Bristol and set within an area of outstanding natural beauty, these converted barns are perfectly placed for country and town living.

These three recently converted barns are situated at the end of a quiet lane on the family’s sheep farm in the picturesque village of Kelston. They are all cosy single storey units that sleep two people in each.
With wood burning stoves, whirlpool baths and wrought iron beds you can take a comfortable break in your own private haven. Each barn conversion has a fully fitted kitchen/diner, bathroom, and central heating, colour TV and comfortable sofa.

‘The Old Crown Inn’, a traditional West Country pub, is just a ten-minute walk down to the village. Here you can enjoy a wide range of reasonably priced food and a good selection of beverages including local real ales and cider.

There are many beautiful countryside walks from the cottages. These include a walk up to ‘Kelston Round Hill’, from which you can take in panoramic views over Bath and Bristol. For the more adventurous, the Cotswold Way can be accessed via footpaths to the top of the farm. However, with just a ten-minute drive ahead of you in order to reach one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it is a must to visit Bath. This stunning historical spa town presents the visitor with so much to see and do from architecture to street entertainment Bath should not be missed.

Hare Cottage
Converted from an old ‘Oxen Shed’ this detached cottage combines a traditional feel with modern comforts. You can unwind in the whirlpool bath or in front of the wood burner, which has been converted to gas and gives a cosy real fire at the turn of a button. The spectacular views from this cottage are unmatched in the area and are best taken in while you relax on the spacious veranda.

Owl and Badger Cottages
The original exposed beams have been preserved in these adjoining cottages so that they retain a farmyard feel and have real character. They each have French windows that lead you on to your patio complete with garden furniture and barbecue facilities. Both of these cottages have luxuriously large corner whirlpool baths (with shower over).

All you have to decide is if you would prefer Owl Cottage with the superb view from its bedroom or Badger Cottage with its spacious bedroom with an additional television.

Road Directions

From M4
Leave te M4 at junction 18 and follow the A46 towards Bath. At junction with A420 turn right. At double mini roundabout turn left onto A4175. At next roundabout turn left onto A431. Follow this road to Kelston. Take first left. Follow for 1/3 mile until you reach Coombe Barn Holiday Cottages.

Public Transport Directions

From Bath Spa Station
Take the 331 or 332 bus to Kelston from the Bus Station opposite the Train Station.
