The house is about 150 years old and has been our family home for over 35 years. Views over open countryside and our 1-acre garden are both memorable features of any visit here. Whilst the city of Bath is less than 2 miles away, we are on a quiet lane and it is hard to believe that the hubbub of a tourist city is so close.

We are well located for day tours in all directions, as within an hour's drive one can be in the heart of the Cotswolds, on Salisbury Plain and Stonehenge, in South Wales or at Wells and the Somerset Levels.

We are very free with our advice on places to visit and have specialist gardening knowledge. Our family room is unusually flexible in its sleeping arrangements: please telephone to discuss your requirements.

Road Directions

From M4 jct 18 take A46/A4 towards Bath. Once on A4 turn left at the 2nd junction with traffic lights (towards A36. At end of road go left onto A36 direction Warminster. Continue arrpox 2 miles until traffic lights on A36 at Viaduct Inn, turn uphill then 1st left into Monkton Combe, through village towards Combe Down, 0.5 mile, first house on left.
