Comfortable country cottage home dating back to the 18th century situated on an edge of a large common, offering bed and breakfast accommodation near Bath in Wiltshire.

Our bed and breakfast is situated on a no through road in an area of complete peace and tranquility, coupled with our hospitality and comfortable surroundings; this is a home from home.

Broughton Gifford is quiet attractive village and is an ideal base for visiting nearby towns as we are close to Lacock, Melksham and Bradford on Avon and are within 20-25 minutes drive from Bath. There are many National Trust properties around and other places of interest are Longleat, Avebury, Stourhead, Bowood, Corsham Court, Stonehenge and the White Horses.

Our village of 700 souls boasts two pubs with restaurants, a very large common, three churches and the peace and quiet has to be experienced to be believed.

Road Directions

A4 towards Chippenham from Bath. Turn right to Bathford. Turn left at Crown Pub to Kingsdown up hill. After the Swan Pub on left take next turn right to South Wraxall. Cross main road to Broughton Gifford continue to cross roads and turn right at sign for Broughton Gifford. On entering the village turn first left before the Common and the Cottage is after the fourth traffic calmer.
