The Blathwayt has a huge idyllic garden overlooking the downs complete with childrens play area. The pub has just undergone some major changes which include the introduction of a top chef who has added to the great ambience of the place with the fine dining experience that is now The Blathwayt. To compliment this we have a vast range of wines and some excellent real ales to offer such as Fortyniner, 6x and Butcombe. From Easter 2007 there will also be a covered/heated patio area giving an al fresco drinking/dining experience as well as all no smoking. There are also new relaxing soft (sofa) areas within The Blathwayt to make the most of the 2 open log fires.
Open all day every day
From the M4 junction 18 follow the A4 heading towards Bath. At the first roundabout turn right onto the A420. Take the first left turning and follow this road to the end. Turn left at the end of the road, go up the hill, and the road levels out. The Blathwayt is just past the race-course on the right.
