Receive a warm welcome from Chef Laurent Couvreur and his wife Jill at Casanis Bistro, where New York efficiency meets Gallic charm. The ambience is cosily upbeat and the food authentically French.
With its low lighting and antiques sourced from 'brocantes' across Provence, Casanis provides an intimate dining space spanning two floors, with a courtyard garden at the back.
Lunch and Dinner menus offer self-assured dishes based entirely around quintessential French dishes - with daily specials and set-menu options available for lunch and pre-theatre.
Open 12 - 2.30pm & 6 - 10.30pm Tuesday to Saturday and 12-2pm Sunday.
Situated adjacent to the Assembly Rooms and Museum of Costume, Casanis is an attractive Georgian property on Saville Row - a charming pedestrian lane containing an eclectic mix of antique shops and retail outlets. The vicinity also boasts The Circus and The Royal Crescent with the major retail and leisure centres of Milsom Street and George Street just a 5 minute walk away.
From M4 junction 18 take A46 then A4 towards Bath. Stay on A4 into the city and turn right up onto Lansdowne Road. Take the second turning left (Bennett Street) and Saville Row is on your left.
